I've just done a self diagnosis and i think i have mono... maybe. Friend of mine is just getting over it. It would kinda fit... fever... headaches... tired... not hungry. Dunno where the nausea fits in but it's not like it's severe... i'm not puking or anything like that. What a f&cking time to get mono if that is what it is. Course i'm just guessing... i don't really have a clue... just reminded myself i should go try and eat.
I gotta do two meetings today. One i don't have to do but i always go and the other one i'm chairing again tonight so i have no choice with D being out of town.
Yesterday wasn't bad afterall... i went and did all the sh&t my sponsor wanted to do and apart from feeling a little nauseous and basically spaced out it was all good. Glad i went. Went for supper again... j&sus the woman eats out more than i do... match made in heaven i tell ya. Hit a 12 step birthday meeting. It's not my fave meeting cause it's booze not drugs and i can't really relate to a lot of it but there's a lot of cute little sober boys to look at taking their year there so it's kinda interesting. :P They're so young i forget i've only got 9mos myself.

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
