Finally i'm doing the tongue depressor thing. I would advise anyone having had radiation to their head/neck not to wait to do the stretching exercises until you can't get your mouth open wide enough to eat.
I'm doing 3 times a day for about 10min or trying anyway. Sometimes i only get to 2 but it works way better if i do 3x. I'm up to 18 td's now. I'll start with 16 for 3min.. go up to 17 for 3min and so on so it can take about ten minutes total each time. I've stuck with the same number for a week then increased it by one.
It hurts like f&cking hell at first but now 16 and 17 isn't that bad.
