Unadulterated Rant
I'm pissed... i am so pissed... it's only momentary but while i got it going here it is... when this war is over and the States has time to deal with issues at home just what do you think they are going to have to say about the support they got from us Canadians??????
Not only did we not support them... but we've given them the finger. Well just wait till the Americans come home and give us the big American finger cause we'll be f*cked.
We don't have to like the war... we don't have to fight in the war... we just have to give them some moral support. Did you ever bug your big brother growing up? You bugged him... and bugged him... and bugged him... but he was your big brother so he gave ya some slack... but then ya bugged him just one too many times and he grabbed ya and gave ya the sh*t kickin of your life... you see my point? Okay it's a bit of an exageration but.....
We have no nuclear weapons... we have no military... we have absolutely no way to defend ourselves... we are sitting on some of the worlds biggest oil reserves in the world... we've got some pretty nice diamond mines up north too... we have pipelines that go directly to the US... we're sitting ducks... the only reason no one walks right in and takes it all is cause we happen to be buddies with the US.
Lucky for us it's not in the US interest to let anyone else move in next door. L*rd knows there's no other reason to bother defending a country that keeps giving them the finger. If we were an island alone in the middle of the ocean there is no way we could sit undefended with the natural resources we have and be safe. And if the States was/is the evil aggressor that everyone is accusing them of being they could have had us years ago.... pfffffffffffffffft!!!!!
Well i'm going out for a nice supper... *deep breath*... think they'll wanna talk about the war?...
