Iraq and War
Hmmmm well that's a tough one huh. Damned if ya do... damned if ya don't. Well right or wrong personally i think Canada should support the States. I'm not saying Bush is right... i'm not saying he's wrong... i just kinda feel like we should give the States our moral support. We all know we don't have much in the way of military. Neither do many of the other countries that are backing the States... nevertheless they are saying hey we're with you on this. Hell we're neighbors... shouldn't we support our neighbors? It's not like Bush is picking on an angel... he's picking on a sick, evil, sadistic, power hungry, murdering bastard that would see all of us dead given the choice.
Why do i feel like this? Because i grew up in London, England surrounded by people that lived through WWII and i listened to all the stories about all the atrocities that occured because people stood by and did nothing when a power hungry, madman was allowed to takeover and rule a country and no one stopped him until it was almost too late. I can't help but think are we going to wait until it's too late this time? Bush is either going to be the biggest hero of this and the last century or the biggest villain and the truth is we may never know which because he may stop some of the biggest crimes in history from occuring by doing what he is about to do. What if someone would have gone and stopped Hitler? We would never have known how many thousands of lives they saved. They would have been one of the biggest heroes the world had ever known and not a soul would know about it.
Despite all this... I hope to hell the States knows something they're not telling us and they know there's something real bad hidden in those caves in Iraq or there's some real bad sh*t about to go down... cause they are probably gonna need it to justify their actions at some point and i really don't want to see this turn out badly for the States or for anyone for that matter. Well that is all i'm gonna say on that for now i need to get goin cause i have a lunch date with my oldest daughter... :)
