Now if you don't like rants stop reading right here... cause this could be a good one. G*d...it's no wonder women are assessed negatively at times even by other women... did i actually hear a woman on survivor say... (keep in mind i was doing my nails, i'm completely deaf in one ear and i'm not totally glued to the tv despite the fact survivor is my #1 addiction presently)... now... did i actually hear a woman on survivor say... "us good looking, young girls with the good bodies went down to the river/water to get clean" ????? Not a direct quote but a general take on what i thought i heard. Then did she actually go on to say that they somehow thought they had to segregate themselves because the other women would somehow be intimidated(not the word she used but something like that) by their amazingly perfect bodies???? Okay now i'm definately not quoting but hellooooooooooooo????!!!! Girls you need to take a look in a mirror. There are many, many women in this world perfectly comfortable with their bodies who are not perfect.
Now i haven't been paying a huge amount of attention to who's in good shape and who isn't... male or female... (i will from now on)... but i got a quick glimpse of the abs on the black girl(i think)... and i'd say it's the black girl with the six pack that's got the good bod not the girls that look like they just climbed out of a f*cking coffin.
Omg i'm sorry but those girls were all ribs and bone... each to his own but i do not find that attractive and it even pisses me off cause i have two daughters that have to try and live up to that kind of bullsh*t standard and it makes me sick.

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
