Another New PC
Our coyote is around this morning. It's garbage day today so i'm guessing he's waiting for his chance to cross the street and get into a few.
Hubs bought a new pc on the weekend. My sony is a 1.7 this is an HP 2.4GHz. I didn't really mind until this morning when i installed one of the kids old disney games on it... omg that thing is fast. Click install and poof it's done. Now i'm choked!!... *major pout*. They get the new joystick too... *another pout*.
Hubs has wanted a new pc for quite awhile. He and the kids share. What??? I'm an only child... i don't share nothing with no one. ;P
Anyway, he has to access the gas plant he designed up north on the pc... he can see everything... and i mean everything... every temperature... every pressure of every little piece of that plant. It's really quite amazing. He can see what their production is every minute of the day... when they went down... everything... it's all online.
Only problem is my old pc wouldn't keep a connection to the internet so you had to reboot everytime and it was driving everyone nuts. On top of that he needs XP to access the network at work cause they use this super duper security thingy that only works with XP.
That was his excuse for buyin it anyway. I guess i'll go along with that. ;) The story about them throwing in the photo printer for free because of his long history of buying pc's from future shop sounds a bit fishy to me though. Guess i'd better not complain too much seein as i inherited his old laptop when work gave him a new one.
