Obviously i haven't been into blogging much lately. Forced myself to make the template changes but got a lot more to do also obvious. Must be the winter blues. Winter sure hit this week... -21 to -28C without windchill. Can't be bothered to figure what that is in F... friggin cold whatever eh?
One of our dogs came so close to biting it a couple nites ago. It was probably around -30C overnight. I'd just had the first dream ever where i dreamed my dad died. Had one maybe two where it was my mom years and years ago but never my dad.
Anyway, was just going back to sleep when hubs starts goin on about hearing a dog barking outside. He gets up and says something about going and checking on Allie cause she wasn't upstairs and i'm thinking yea whatever cause he's always freakin out and worryin about where the dogs are. He's an insomniac who's up and down all night and i'm a log that wouldn't move for nothin once i get in bed.
Turns out the dog door got stuck and Allie was stuck outside in -30C!!!!!! OMFG she woulda been a popsicle in the morning. We are so lucky hubs happened to hear her cause she doesn't bark very loud and he's deaf to start with. My G*d i woulda been sooooooo devastated if anything woulda happened to my little cuddle buddy. She was so freaked out when she got back in.
Well time to run... hugggz.

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
