Got more xmas shopping done today. Dayum i'm making some serious headway here on xmas prep. Most of the really stressful stuff is done. Now if i don't leave all the little things till Dec 24 i should be able to avoid a complete mental breakdown this year.
Tonight was NA. I'm really glad i went... i almost blew it off cause i was late. It's a wonderful thing to spend an hour listening to people talk about the same issues and problems you have yourself. I'm not going nuts afterall.
I think smokers learn to deal with a lot of their negative feelings by smoking them away. Feel lonely... have a smoke... angry... have a smoke... tired... have a smoke. Cigarettes are great for just about anything that ails your mind... with only one drawback... they'll kill you. If there was just some way around that they would make the perfect friend.
