Well i was a little sidetracked by the whole xmas thing yesterday so i'll try and get to a little update on the latest visit to the cancer clinic dentist and hubbies latest adventures with the neurologist sometime soon for those interested. For now i have to go workout. My 9 yr old has been off school for 2 days so i haven't had to get up. Did the parent/teacher interview thing yesterday... followed by the cancer clinic dentist appt... followed by photos with the kids at sears... followed by a little bit of xmas shopping... oops should i be calling that "holiday shopping"? :P
I remember when i first got online... it was probably one or two xmas' into the whole online thing when i realised that some of my friends were Jewish. It would come up accidently when i'd ask them about xmas and they'd explain they were Jewish etc. It was kinda funny to think that first i was so isolated that it never even occured to me that everyone i know wasn't some form of Christian... or "nothing" because most people i know aren't affiliated with any kind of church or religion... or maybe they are and i don't know ;)... and secondly that i didn't know because it didn't matter to me what religion they were.
Whenever i've ran into people and discovered they were some other religion i've always found it kinda fascinating and asked them all kinds of questions about it. It didn't matter if it was based on Chrisitanity or Judaism or Islam... i thought it was all rather interesting. So why can't we all just celebrate our holidays publicly? Are there that many religious fanatics in this country that we have to remove all religious references from public matters? A xmas tree is a xmas tree... we can all stand around and call it a holiday tree and pretend it has nothing to do with Christ... but we all know what it is... too funny.
Omg there i go again... sidetracked... gotta go workout before i blow it off... kissssssses... :)

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
