Just as i was about to revel in the glory of my blog lookin right for 5seconds i go and forget everything and make changes to my template thru blogger and screw it up again. It shouldn't be a big deal... copying and pasting the backup copy of my template should fix it again... i hope. Still i'm getting pretty fed up with the stupid thing... grrrrrr.
I'm sick... the whole sore throat... like ya just drank a bucket of acid... pukey... achey thing going on. Of course it has to coincide with just having cleaned up major mouse poop under my washer/dryer so now i'm thinking i got bloody hanta virus. I'd be dead already by now wouldn't i?
Anyway... yes the mice are back... it's been a couple years since they blessed us with their presence and invaded our home. Dunno why they chose this year. Fortunately i discovered them very early on and they haven't progressed past the laundry room yet. They are using their usual portal of entry... the dog door.
This would have all been avoided if the company that makes our dog door hadn't gone bankrupt. We replace our dog door every year because we have yet to find a company that makes one that can stand up to our winters. Unfortunately as i said we can no longer get new ones thus the mice are getting in.
I spent half of last night cleaning up the mess the mice left. My g*d mice sh*t alot!!!!!!!! I guess that is a good thing or i'd never know they had got in and where they were hanging out. Man it is just unbelievable though... you'd think they'd been living here 6mos judging from the poop.
There was even poop all over the clothes in the closet where they'd climbed up to get on the top shelf where the dog boneys were. I picked up a sweater two nights ago shook out the mouse poop and a damn mouse fell out with it!!!...lol.
I really don't need to be sick right now... there is way too much stuff i still need to clean up. And we won't even get into the whole mousetrap thing today... ugghhhhhhh. Three down... ??? to go.

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
