Well that was rather strange... I just got a call from a telemarketer for cerebral palsy and when he asked me for $140 i didn't have a problem telling him to take me off whatever list they have me on because i have cancer and my husband has MS and we have decided to focus our attention on those diseases. Most telemarketers get pissed and hang up even if you tell 'em you'll be dead in a week... (as you all already know i'm sure)... this guy just had me on the phone for over 15min asking all about me and hubby... when i got cancer... how i knew...what did they do... how are we dealing with it all... aren't we pissed off about it... etc etc... lol. He just about sh*t when i told him my hubby had sarcoidosis as well. Well if ever i was gonna give money to a telemarketer it shoulda been this guy.
Oh and i never knew that if you tell these people to take you off their list they have to take you off. I've been plagued with calls everyday.. sometimes twice a day for months from CIBC wanting to offer my husband some fantastic deal that we will never go for in a million years... i ask them to take me off their list and i haven't heard from them since. It's absolutely f*cking amazing and so simple.
