PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.42
1. Have you ever felt like you were expected to set a good example for others?
Yea... most recently for my kids. Do as i say not as i do doesn't work apparently.
2. What keeps you on the right path? For example, why do you think you turned out the way you did as opposed to the nut ball sniper out there?
Fear of death. If i don't get some mind altering drugs and soon i WILL BE a nutball.
3. Sometimes things seem different than they really are. When was the last time you believed something to be one way only to learn you had it all wrong?
F*ck if i can remember right now. Oh hang on... i believed the carrots my husband was feeding me last night were just carrots... i learned this morning they were soaked with butter... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww... he's gonna hear about it tonight.
4. Can you recall a time when being alert and observant kept you safe?
Just driving i guess.
5. Who in your personal circle of relationships do you think is smarter than you? Are they smarter in just one area, or overall? How do you feel about that? How do they interact with you?
My hubby is smarter than me when it comes to what he does... all that engineering crap... math and calculus... ugghhh. So i would say he's smarter in that one area. I've always liked it. I could never be married to someone i didn't think was smarter than me. I respect him for that if nothing else. :P It works good for us because he's a total idiot when it comes to normal life stuff and he knows it.
6. Let's daydream a little: Describe in detail the most perfect lazy day, start to finish.
I sleep in. Parents have taken both kids for the month day. Hubby is outta town... lol. I have breaky out with a friend. I grab an extra large Tim Hortons coffee on the way home. When I get home i find my house has magically cleaned itself and i get to sit in front of my pc for the rest of the morning. The phone lines are down but cable is working perfectly. Around lunchtime another friend delivers lunch and another Tim Hortons coffee.. staying for a little while to chat and eat but leaving me the afternoon to nap and sit at my pc doing whatever i want some more. Later in the evening i order in from a local restaurant that will deliver just about anything. I eat in front of the tv watching my favorite show... either survivor or ummmmm... yea survivor... we'll stick with that. Did i mention i smoked a big fat doobie right before supper? Well that about does it... i spend the rest of my night at the pc of course working feverishly on my next blog template until i can no longer keep my eyes open. I smoke one more big fat doobie before i crawl into bed and i pass right out within a second of my head hitting the pillow. Well he did say the most perfect lazy day right?
7. Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, how come? What is the most favorite costume you ever had?
Nope. My parents are always out of town during halloween and they are our only babysitters. I don't mind... i have to stay away from the party scene anyway.
BONUS: Come on baby tell me what?s the word? Hedonism

"I have heard it all my life,
A voice calling a name i recognized as my own.
Sometimes it comes as a soft bellied whisper.
Sometimes it holds an edge of urgency.
But always it says:
Wake up my love.
You are walking asleep.
There's no safety in that."
