Speaking of Grizzly Bears
Unbelievable... some total fricken loser has murdered a Jasper area grizzly bear. Jasper is a small town in the rockies where my hubby was born and raised. How anyone could kill something that beautiful i will never understand but then there are many evil things i don't understand in this world. Why do some people not give a sh*t??
This grizzly was called Mary. She had a name because she was being tracked by biologists and area school kids as part of the Foothills Model Forest Grizzly Project. I can't imagine how upset those kids must have been to hear this.
She was healthy enough and young enough to have had several more cubs... so they didn't just kill her they killed all her future offspring.
Poaching of a grizzly carries penalties of up to two months in jail and up to $5000 in fines... what a f*cking joke.
